Natural, Organic, Vegan and Conscious Beauty Mascaras as selected by me

Possibly one of the questions I get asked the most is “What Mascara do you recommend?”

I have tried many over the years and I have to say there are so many more great options now in the Conscious Beauty Space than a few years ago even. I often have had trouble with smudging and flaking, and sometimes even irritation, so here are the mascaras that have worked for me and why I love them. Many of the options listed below are Vegan, some are natural and many are also organic.

Natural Finish Mascaras

These are best for a natural day look, perfect for every day. The La Bouche Rouge Serum Mascara is Vegan and a new favourite, in its glass case with s soft and natural finish. the Ilia and RMS ones have been long-standing favourites.

Volumising/Lengthening mascaras

These mascaras are definitely thicker and give a lot of oomph - perfect for an evening occasion or to build up shorter, finer lashes. The Inika one is a Vegan Formula

All Rounders

These mascaras add a bit of volume and a bit of length and are also a good everyday option for an everyday look, but good if you want some enhancement, All are Vegan

Not tried by me

Finally, here are some mascaras I have heard good things about but have not tried them personally - the Kjaer Weis one is new and KW make som amazing products. Westman Atelier is a Luxe product but Gucci Westman truly knows how to make a eco-luxe makeup product.
